Carefree stays with your dog

The picturesque Southern Black Forest was made for your dog. As a dog owner, though, you know the worry before every trip: what is my dog actually allowed to do at the hotel, and what isn't it? You can safely leave that concern behind with us. Dogs are warmly welcome, and there are no major restrictions. At Hotel Linde, your dog truly leads a dog's life, but in the very best sense of the word.

Should your dog ever fall ill or feel unwell, two veterinary practices are close by, 10 to 15 minutes on foot or just 5 minutes by car. Outside surgery hours, a quick phone call tells us straight away which practice is currently covering emergency calls in the area.

Donaueschingen Sighthound Festival

When sighthounds take over the city

Every year, Donaueschingen becomes the stage for the Sighthound Festival, the world's largest specialist sighthound show, with competitors from more than 20 nations on lawns of golf-course quality. Agility, trick dogging and the moving "Parade of Rescues" round off the programme. We look forward to welcoming these graceful guests every year.

The Southern Black Forest

Explore the local area from our doorstep

The Southern Black Forest combines nature and culture, and is wonderfully easy to explore with your dog from Hotel Linde. Picturesque Lake Titisee, the wild Wutach Gorge and the Triberg Waterfalls are genuine natural wonders. Green Freiburg is well worth a day trip, and longer hikes are best taken on the Feldberg. With the KONUS guest card, you can travel free of charge on local public transport throughout the entire Black Forest, and many local buses and trains take dogs on a lead without any problem.

A dog-friendly hotel with a warm, welcoming team

We felt very much at home at Hotel Linde. The team deserves a special mention for being so genuinely friendly and welcoming. Our dogs were warmly received, too. With the sighthound festival taking place, it was a particular delight to meet fellow hounds and their owners throughout the hotel.
